Takashi Ida^research^ introduction
A brand-new method for structure analysis from powder diffraction data, which enables more precise structure refinement than the Rietveld method, is introduced.
The method is particularly effective for the cases, (1) very fine crystallites are not easily available, and/or (2) the material has high absorption coefficient for X-ray.
The original paper [Ida, T. & Izumi, F. (2011). J. Appl. Cryst., 44, 921-927 (2011)] has been published.
